Family Friendly Self-Catering Holiday Cottage on the edge of Caldbeck Village in the Northern Fells of the Lake District

Directions from North – M6 Motorway ‐ Carlisle:

1. Take the B5299 south out of Carlisle towards Dalston.
2. Continue on this road for past Dalston, through Welton to a crossroads with the B5305 (Penrith/Wigton road).
3. Go straight across the crossroads and follow signs into Caldbeck on the B5299.
4. Go through Caldbeck, turning right at the Oddfellows Arms pub.
5. Continue up the hill for 200m.
6. Turn left at the village school Ellwood House is on the left after about 100m – parking is around the back.

Directions from South ‐ M6 Motorway ‐ Penrith:

1. Come off the M6 motorway at Junction 41 and turn onto the B5305 towards Wigton.
2. About 1.5 miles beyond Sedbergham at the crossroads, turn left and follow the B5299 to Caldbeck.
3. Just over a cattle grid, the road turns left down the hill into Caldbeck.
4. Continue from (4) above.

Fly to Carlisle Airport

It is now possible to fly from London and Belfast to Carlisle Airport, which is only 19 miles from Caldbeck. Car hire available.
